Brandon Valley Invitational

The Lynx Invitational will be held on Thursday, September 4, 2014.  The meet will be run at McHardy Park in Brandon.  McHardy Park is located about ¼ mile Southeast of the high school.  Go two blocks south of the high school on Splitrock Boulevard and take the left towards Valley Springs.  The park is on the south side of the highway – turn right on McHardy Road.

The order of the races will be as follows:

                        Varsity Girls                                        4000 Meters

                        Varsity Boys                                       5000 Meters

                        JV Girls                                               4000 Meters

                        JV Boys                                              4000 Meters

Middle School Girls                            2200 Meters    (7^th/8^th grade only)

                        Middle School Boys                           2200 Meters    (7^th/8^th grade only)                  

This meet is for 7^th-12^th grade athletes only.              

Race distance may be shortened if weather conditions warrant – extreme heat, for example.  Course maps are attached.

Medals will be awarded to the top 10 finishers in each Middle School race and top 20 finishers in each JV and Varsity race.

Popsicles and water will be provided after the race.
