2014 Russ Strande Invitational Cross Country Meet

Entries:                                                 The entry fee is $40.00 per school with reciprocity.  South Dakota schools

                                                                need to update their rosters on the SDHSAA web site by noon on

                                                                Monday, September 22.  If you have 6^th graders running in the MS meet please email

                                                                their info to randy.soma@k12.sd.us.  Entries are unlimited in each division.  Please assign

                                                                runners to specific divisions based upon their competitiveness.  Each runner will be

                                                                assigned a number.  We will send schools a list of participant numbers

                                                                prior to the meet.  We will have runners numbers in the packets when they arrive.

Awards:                                                Plaques for first place Varsity Boys and Girls Teams

                                                                Medals for top 20 in Varsity Events

                                                                Medals for top 15 in JV and Middle School Events

                                                                Results will be available before departure.  Results will also be e-mailed to

                                                                schools and the media.

Parking:                                               Teams may park in the golf course parking lot.  Coaches will receive

                                                                packets upon arrival.  Spectators and workers must park north of the tree

                                                                belt on the 3M property as a result of the executive golf course.

Miscellaneous:                                    Teams can only set-up their camps on the driving range.  Porta potties will

                                                                be provided so participants don’t need to use the club house.  The front

                                                                nine will be open for golfing; please instruct runners to stay on the

                back nine during warm-up and cool-down.  Runners and spectators

                must stay off the executive golf course, which is located north of the

                                                                drive way, parking lot and driving range!
